Union Pacific Odyssey is continued in Volume Two. Emery Gulash was a great railroad cinematograpgher. The all color 16mm film is something special to see. His composition skills are amazing!

Beautiful , scenic shots of Union Pacific in Western states. Plenty of mountain railroading footage. Numerous shots are simply stunning.

Wide variety of UP diesels. Some are rare and exclusive to this railroad. Turbines, Centennials, DD35, U50C locomotives shown in service! Some 15,000 horsepower lashups. Challenger 8444 appears with a train for reenactment (shown) of Golden Spike event 1869- 1969..

More UP Turbine action is seen in this second volume.

Centennial 6900.

SD40 with a pair of DD35 locomotives. Union Pacific always had some ‘Big Engines’.

American Railroads Steam excursion in 1969 with an ex: Nickel Plate Berkshire.

May, 1967 on the Cheyenne divsion. This was the Challenger in the 8444 era.

Narration is spot on and informative.

Emery caught The City of St. Louis here.

Great set for the railfan and modeler. Union Pacific fans will enjoy this 2 disc set.
